HISTORY OF TONY REDD RENOVATIONS

As a very young boy, I was introduced to wood working by my Grandpa Redd, whom had a nicely equipped wood shop! Grandpa Redd gave me my first tool belt, hammer and a mini hand saw. I fondly remember building wooden boats as toys.

My love of working with wood never ceased and by high school I took as many woodshop and drafting coursed as were possible. Many great teachers later, I was completely comfortable around power equipment and reading blue prints, turning out furniture and lamps and so forth.

I spent the next four years at Otterbein College, where I graduated with a degree in Business. That is when I met my beautiful wife Heidi and we have been married for 32 years with 4 sons and 8 grandchildren.

As I transitioned into corporate America, I did construction projects on the side, building my first garage in 1988. At the same time, my wife and I were volunteer Firefighters/EMT's at Millersport Volunteer Fire Company.

I quickly realized corporate America was not for me, and that I could incorporate my knowledge of business with my love of the building industry.

In 1992, I went to work with my Father and Grandfather Heister, in the cabinet and appliance business. In 1993 we started installing our own designs of cabinets and countertops and I never looked back.

2002 brought with it retirements of both my father and grandfather and the birth of Tony Redd Renovations LLC.  Today, we are a full service design build company, geared toward building relationships with our customer and providing the end result that they desire, making all of their dreams come to life!
